The following is a schedule of planned events for the HUB Division.  Note that times and locations are subject to change, so please check back close to the event for final details.

All events take place in Massachusetts, unless otherwise stated.

  • Jul 20, 2008 (Sun): HUB Modular Railroad display at Hildene, the Lincoln Family Home, Manchester, VT.
    Hildene is celebrating the purchase of a 1903 Pullman car, named the Sunbeam.  Abraham Lincoln's oldest son, Robert Todd Lincoln, was the President of the Pullman Company from 1897 to 1911, and was Chairman of the Board until 1922;  thus the Pullman/Lincoln connection.  In addition to the HUB display, there will be food, kid's crafts and activities, and a spike driving contest. The celebration begins at the Welcome Center, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, FREE.  See http://www.hildene.org for additional details.

  • Aug 10, 2008 (Sun):  12th Annual HUB Division Cookout, at Pete Watson's house.  See the Flyer and  Directions for details.

  • Sept 11-14, 2008 (Thurs-Sun):  NER Regional Convention, Syracuse, NY.

  • Sep 13, 2008 (Sat): HUB Modular Railroad display in the Norwood Masonic Hall, for the Norwood Days celebration, Norwood.

  • Sep 19, 2008 (Fri) HUB Railfun Meeting 8:00 PM, Cambridge School of Weston, Weston.

  • Sep 20, 2008 (Sat): HUB Board of Directors Meeting, 7:30 PM, Curtis Nutt residence, Framingham

  • Sep 21, 2008 (Sun): Worcester Model Railroaders Open House, 10 AM to 3 PM.
    137 Schofield Ave., Dudley. This is a 43' x 51' club layout, controlled by Digitrax DCC.

  • Dec 6-7, 2008 (Sat-Sun) HUB-sponsored
    New England Model Train EXPO at the Best Western Royal Plaza Trade Center, Marlborough.

  • Dec 13-14, 2008 (Sat-Sun) HUB Modular Railroad display at the National Heritage Museum, 33 Marrett Road, Lexington.

  • Jan 16, 2009 (Fri) HUB Railfun Meeting 8:00 PM, Cambridge School of Weston, Weston.

  • Jan 24-25, 2009 (Sat-Sun): HUB Modular Railroad display at the 2009 Amherst Railway Society's Big Railroad Hobby Show, Big-E Fairgrounds, West Springfield.
