Since these photos are intended for detailed
study, they are provided here in 3 different resolutions.
Click the image for the usual screen-size image,
generally 1024x768 pixels. In addition, there are two links below each photo to higher
resolution versions. The
HighRes version
is about 25% higher resolution at 1280x960, and the
SuperHighRes version
is Jeff's original, at a whopping 2560x1920 resolution, allowing you to almost see the
actual water molecules! (Be patient with loading the latter version if your Internet
connection is not high-speed ... some of these photos at that resolution are close to
a meg in size.)
Also, if your browser is configured to automatically scale images to fit into the
browser window, then these different resolutions will all look the same to you. You'll
either need to configure your browser to display the image at its full size, or right-click
the link to save the image file onto your machine, then open it in your favorite photo
processing application.
